All order transactions are performed on a secure web server. Secure web server technology ensures that the server is the proper server and not the server of a malicious web site. It also encrypts all data to prevent a malicious individual from intercepting Credit Card or other sensitive data. In a effort to protect consumers, we screen all orders for credit card fraud. If an order is suspect of fraud we may require additional information or the order may not be accepted. We reserve the right to deny any order which we believe to not be legitimate
Information We Collect
When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit-card number and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfill your orders and to notify you of your order status. You may voluntarily sign up to be informed about certain offers. For this service we need only an e-mail address, which we use to send the information you requested. We personalize your shopping experience by using your purchases to shape our recommendations about other merchandise that might be of interest to you. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the store. We may also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important changes to the Web site, new services and special offers we think you’ll find valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, please notify us. Make sure to notify us for each account or e-mail address you have left with us.
Use of “Cookies”
“Cookies” are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information, but they do enable us to provide features such as 1-Click shopping and to store items in your shopping cart between visits. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser to prevent that. Without a cookie, you can not use most of the features in our store, including placing items in your shopping cart and purchasing them.
All items, except where otherwise stated, are new and free of defects and backed by a manufacturers limited warranty. Within 30 days of purchase, batteriesASAP.com at its option will repair or replace defective items. Merchandise that fails to conform to the manufacturers warranty will be repaired or replaced at the option of the manufacturer. Prices and styles subject to change. Return shipping charges must be prepaid by the customer. COD’s will not be accepted.
Returns are allowed as long as the batteries have not been used and the return is made within 30 days of the purchase date. The customer is responsible for return freight costs.
Unlike some websites, we will only ship you the battery you requested. We understand that although there are many batteries that will function similarly to another brand, there are situations (i.e. contractual agreements, warranty requirements) that specify which brand can be used in your application. You may at times see optional brands listed with the battery product page. These are only listed as an option and will not be swapped for your order. If you are not bound for any reason to a particular battery, please take a moment to consider the option. Any batteries listed as an option have been verified by our experts for a wide array of applications and are usually a less expensive battery.
Texas State Battery Sales Fee
In accordance with Texas Law, all customers ordering batteries shipped into the state of Texas are subject to the Texas State Battery Sales Fee. The Battery Sales Fee is applied to Sealed Lead Acid batteries under the following criteria:
$2.00 per battery- for all 6 volt batteries larger than 10AH
$3.00 per battery- for all 12 volt batteries larger than 10AH
The YahooStore system is capable of allocating tax for the total sale; however, the additional Battery Sales Fee must be applied manually. If you are shipping applicable batteries into Texas, we will notify you of the additional fee prior to processing the order to confirm your decision to purchase the batteries. Once we receive a confirmation from the customer we will continue processing the order with the additional fee.
All items in stock ship same day if ordered before 2:00PM CSTMonday – Friday except holidays. Orders placed after 2:00PM CST on Fridays will be processed the following Monday. Any items that must be back ordered usually ship within three business days from the order. If your order is delayed due to back order, you will be notified of the estimated ship date.
We have done our best at providing low cost shipping options for large battery orders. If you place an order over 150 lbs. we will not ship the order via UPS even if selected it in your checkout. We will contact you with the actual shipping cost based upon the revised freight quote using the Motor Freight option. Once approved by you we will charge your card based upon the new cost.
We assume that if you order a quantity of batteries that weigh more than 150 lbs. that you can receive a shipment delivered on a truck. Many times this requires a dock or forklift for large quantities. In rare situations we could modify your shipping quote to include a lift gate delivery if requested on the order instructions.
Once your order is received, we will determine the best way to ship based upon the delivery location and the origin. Your shipment confirmation will include the tracking number. The icons below link to a few of the available shipping companies we use.
